Over the past year, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about a question that has shaped everything we do at Indie Beginning:
What would it look like to disciple Christian creatives?
Not just inspire them with Instagram posts. Not just help them make better art. But help them build a creative life with God at the center.
That question eventually became something we’ve been slowly building behind the scenes...
📖 The Faithful Creative Academy.
The Academy is a guided journey for Christian creatives who want to grow in their faith, creativity, and calling through biblical teaching, reflection, practical exercises, and creative tools—all alongside a community of fellow Christian creatives.
The Academy begins with Foundations, a 30-lesson curriculum built around what I call the A.W.E. Framework:
🌱 ABIDE — Build your creative life on intimacy with Christ rather than striving for approval.
🚶 WALK — Develop the rhythms, habits, and practices that sustain faithful creativity.
✨ EMBODY — Put your faith into practice through the things you create.

I’m excited to share that Module 1: Abide is now complete and available inside the Fireside Club!
Across ten lessons, we’ll explore identity, calling, worship, rest, and what it means to build a creative life that flows from our relationship with God. Because before we talk about what we create, we first need to talk about who we are.
Over the past few weeks, members inside the Fireside Club have been working through the first lessons, and reading their responses has been incredibly encouraging.
Reading comments like these has reminded me why I wanted to build this in the first place.
There are plenty of places that teach us how to become more productive creatives.
I wanted to create a place that first helps us become faithful creatives.
